Diane Reid MCIOF(Cert) Chair

Diane has spent most of her working life in broadcasting, in programme production then governance, most recently as the BBC’s Head of Outreach & Corporate Responsibility. She was Group Manager for the BBC’s move to MediaCityUK, a project set up to deliver social, economic and creative benefits to the north of England. Diane has worked with many different charities and not-for-profits and loves the innovation, creativity and commitment of the voluntary sector. She has been volunteering since she was 11 and has held a portfolio of trustee and non-executive director roles since 2005. Diane is an EMCC-accredited Executive Coach and a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. She mentors board chairs for the Association of Chairs and Network of Women Chairs. Her love for the Lake District goes back to childhood when she first went walking on the fells with her parents.
