Enjoy a one-hour sailing trip on Swallow, one of the iconic boats featured in the 2016 film adaptation of Arthur Ransome’s Swallows and Amazons. Originally used as training dinghies by the Royal Naval Sailing Association, these classic boats were carefully restored by local builders and donated to Lakeland Arts Trust in 2021. 

Trips cost £80 each and can accommodate either 2 adults and 2 children (under 15) or up to 3 adults. Buoyancy aids are provided. No sailing experience is needed—just bring waterproofs, comfortable clothing, and suitable footwear.
