Gather in the Boathouse for a nature-inspired storytelling session with storyteller, author, and nature connection specialist Danny English.

Specialising in stories that help children and families reconnect with nature, Danny uses animals, plants, trees, landscapes and everyday objects to spark imagination, curiosity and care for the world around us.

Set within the Boathouse, one of Windermere Jetty Museum’s most atmospheric spaces, these sessions will take place surrounded by floating historic boats, beautiful lake views, amazing acoustics and the distinct scent of fresh water.

Visitors are invited to pause, listen and step into tales inspired by the natural world, surrounded by the boats, stories and living heritage of Windermere.

These storytelling sessions are perfect for families, curious young listeners and anyone who loves stories inspired by wildlife and the outdoors.

Sessions start at 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm and 4:15pm and will last approx. 30-40 minutes.
