Created to coincide with the Frances Priest: Motif | Line | Colour exhibition, this limited-edition silk scarf captures the spirit of Priest’s creativity and the ethos of the Arts & Crafts Movement.

Edinburgh-based artist Frances Priest has drawn inspiration from the intricate motifs that adorn Blackwell’s interiors — organic patterns that echo the natural world and reflect the surrounding gardens and Lake District landscape. Referencing the decorative vocabulary of architect and designer M.H. Baillie Scott, the scarf’s design originates from Priest’s hand-drawn studies for The White Room ceramic collection, reinterpreted here as a flowing, wearable artwork.

Crafted from luxurious crêpe-de-chine silk and handmade in the UK, this scarf embodies the timeless principles of the Arts & Crafts Movement — artistry, attention to detail, and respect for natural beauty.

Each scarf is presented in a black gift box, accompanied by a signed A5 card by Frances Priest. Limited to an edition of 100, it is a truly special keepsake celebrating this major exhibition at Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house.
