Gift a truly unique experience with our exclusive Steaming Up Experience at Windermere Jetty Museum.
This immersive experience invites the recipient to work alongside our skilled skippers to bring Osprey, our beautifully restored 1902 Edwardian steam launch, to steam before embarking on a relaxing sail across Windermere.
This experience includes approximately £20 to spend in our Lakeshore café during the visit, along with day entry to Windermere Jetty Museum.
Please note: if adding a second participant, lunch is not included for the additional person.
Steaming Up Experience Schedule
- From 9am meet the boat crew and assist with getting Osprey up to steam
- 11am tea/coffee break
- 11.30am – 12.30pm trip on Osprey
- 12.30pm visit our café for lunch
- 13.30pm – museum admission
Practical Information
- The Steaming Up Experience is designed for a maximum of two people.
- Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear recommended (overalls will be provided).
- Assistance dogs only.
- Heritage boats are not wheelchair accessible.
- Experience is subject to weather conditions and operational availability.
