Visitors can also explore the Ecology Gallery, which tells the stories of our local landscape and wildlife, and examines the impact of human activity on the environment we share here in Cumbria.
In the Collections Galleries, explore art through the ages, from historic to contemporary works. Discover pieces by George Romney, Kurt Schwitters, Bridget Riley, Barbara Hepworth and Charmaine Watkiss, alongside many others. From portraiture and abstraction to sculpture and mixed media, the galleries bring together a rich mix of traditional and modern art.
