It is with deep sadness that we learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On behalf of everyone at Lakeland Arts we send our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the whole Royal Family for their loss. As the longest reigning monarch in history Her Majesty has dedicated her life to her role. We are immensely grateful for Her Majesty’s many years of loyal service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
Her Majesty The Queen visited Lakeland Museum in Kendal in 1986 as part of her tour of the country to celebrate her 60th birthday.
Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house and Windermere Jetty Museum will be closed on Friday 9 September 2022.
