Enjoy a rousing lakeside performance by Nobody’s Friends Shanty Group— a sea shanty group from North West Cumbria. Known for their rich acapella singing and rousing harmonies, they’ll bring maritime history to life through traditional songs of the sea. 

Formed in 2022 and based in Penrith, the group has performed at Kendal Calling, Morecambe Maritime Festival, Whitby Folk Festival, and are the official shanty singers for Workington Lifeboat. 

Perfect for soaking up some musical heritage with a coffee or local craft beer in hand. Free for the public to attend and is part of Festival of the Lake.
