Sail into the Conservation Store and get lost in the world of Swallows and Amazons with The Arthur Ransome Society.

Families can enjoy hands-on activities including paper boat making, word searches and playful challenges inspired by Arthur Ransome’s much-loved stories of sailing, adventure and life by the lake.

There’ll also be a chance to try on the iconic red caps worn by the Amazons themselves, Nancy and Peggy, and capture a photo from your own lake adventure.

These activities will be available throughout the day.
